Welcome to the 10th Anniversary Ross-on-Wye Walking Festival – 3 days of guided walks along trails and footpaths to give a varied and interesting taste of the town and the surrounding countryside. We would love to see you and offer 15 diverse walks for all abilities and all interests:

 

    •       •   incorporating everything from steam trains and river boats, forests, caves and hills  to alleyways and cream teas

  •       •   we even have a brilliant, accessible 4 mile/easy “Buggy Walk” for those needing flat, firm surfaces

  •       •   walks range in length from 3 miles/easy to 9 miles/moderate or 7.5 miles/energetic

  •       •   many include opportunities for picnics or local pubs/food

  •       •   dog-friendly walks available too.

All of our festival walks are guided by knowledgeable, experienced local volunteers.

In addition, you can combine these Festival walks with some of our self-guided pub walks; or stay longer and try some of the stages of the long-distance trails that run through or near to Ross-on-Wye.
